APPEARANCE : Hailshard is a long-haired cream tabby with amber eyes. PERSONALITY : Hailshard is an open she-cat, the type to tell close friends everything. She doesn't keep secrets, and she's honest. She's a romantic, and believes in a lot. But she does have her flaws. She's a blabbermouth, and can't be trusted with other people's secrets. She has a reputation for being loud, and she always speaks her mind, which can get her into trouble. [ word count: 63 words ] | HISTORY : 150+ Words Hailshard was born as Hailkit of ThistleClan, to Skylight and Redgrass. Her sibling, Softkit, died as a kit as a result of prey that was spoiled, buried to protect it in times of famine for the Clan during leaf-fall. It was spoiled, and the kit didn't realize that. She hadn't been  , her appetite dead as a result of the smell that she sniffed as she took a bite and the sickening taste of the flesh. But the two were born at late leaf-fall, and so they had been raised knowing hunger as a friend. She only got slightly sickened, but Softkit developed a stomach bug that was so bad that she died. The three remaining members mourned for their kit, for Softkit had barely lived. Hunger drove cats to do many things that harsh leaf-bare. But during the height of newleaf, Hailkit was apprenticed. She worked hard, made some friends with the older apprentices, and was close friends with one of them. Poppypaw, a white speckled she-cat. She developed feelings for the older she-cat, but refused to admit it to herself. It was wrong to have feelings for another she-cat! That wasn't how it worked! It was a good thing, because Poppypaw and her siblings went on to become warriors three moons into her apprenticeship. There was another apprentice that also had to wait, but only another moon, named Sparrowpaw. And then she was training with no friends when he became a warrior. Hailpaw trained to become a warrior in order to catch up to her friends, but when she became Hailshard, she found that Poppysnow and her siblings had no interest in being friends with her. Sparrowleaf was, though, and the two developed a close friendship. He later became mates with Poppysnow, and since, she has remained friends with him, but has grown more distant. She has remained a faithful warrior since.[ word count: 314 ] |
